Englishes refer to varieties of spoken English throughout the world.

So if you think there is such a thing as ‘native’ English speakers, think again. Even the British have their Englishes, from Queen’s English (which is what you hear on BBC) to Yorkshire, Manchester etc. In other words, it’s what we Singaporeans know as dialects.
